Oh, and also last week when I mentioned the creepiness of baby cakes... Well, obviously I wasn't the only one thinking about it.
Look at this Cake Wrecks post!!!
And, for the record, I mentioned it four days before her.

Cakesong
I feel like I'm getting crazier, because the second I saw this video I was overcome with excitement and the need to share it with everybody I know.
But, seriously, what the fuck is this???
One part of me says that it's boredom, but then another side of me says "NO! This is plain genius!"
So I'm going with that. It's just really awesome. Somehow. Sort of.
The saddest cake song in the world.

sum sum summa
Well, it's officially summer and I'm officially bored.
Trying to figure out things to do. Today I gave my dog a bath. We've owned him for three years (maybe two?) and never given him a bath before. I hope that doesn't count as pet abuse, because I swear it wasn't intentional or punitive. I guess it just sorta never happened until now... So yeah, he's all squeaky clean now.
Okay what else? Beach dog-walking, Garland Ranch hiking, sun-bathe-napping, open-mic-watching, Golden Girls watching, ETCCCC.
And right at this very moment I'm reading Hyperbole and a Half and watching Ace of Cakes.
Thurr ya go. Lots of things to do, yet still I feel like a bum.
Edit: Okay when people get cakes made to look like their animals I can't help thinking how creepy it must feel to cut into cute little Fluffy's head and serve him to all of your family and friends. What the hell, why is that considered a cute idea?

Baby Moose
I've been seriously obsessed with Pomplamoose for a few weeks.
So I suggest that if you have a little free time you check em out.
And if you have even more free time, I suggest you follow suit. That shit's rad.

Finalzzz
Eh. I've been trying to focus for what feels like a month. It's that thing with time where it flies and it crawls and it gets up and jumps off a cliff and you're just along for the ride.
Except for the fact that it's all fake. All bullshit. It doesn't exist!
(How liberating, how freeing, how terrifying.)
So yeah, here I am talking about the reality and transiency of time when I should be writing about Daoism or Modern Dance or the whole pantheon of British literature giants.
And, yeah, those are all really interesting topics, yet I can't seem to muster the right sort of attitude to tackle them.
But enough of my complaints. Off we go!
Oh and also, I'm really feeling like getting a turtle. Like, a baby turtle. That is where my free thought session has led me.
Look at this cat and turtle.

Updates of adventures to come.
